Memories from Silver Chamber's first time taking its unique blend of metal and classical to the Manchester music scene, at The Yard MCR
With special sets from DIVINITAS and SYNTARA performing alongside the Silver Chamber Orchestra
and guest support from The Voluta Quartet and Fear Inoculum

"Silver Chamber is an orchestral project unlike anything you would have seen. This orchestra, armed with a conductor, has drums and electric guitars, so almost like the Mancunian version of Hans Zimmer, and the set this orchestra put on is nothing short of exceptional. Musically the most complicated and technical act of tonight, the music is clearly prog, but is elevated due to the harp and string touches, and later on, Silver Chamber will go onstage again to play a short second set to wrap this evening of music up.
With the end of the Divinitas set, Silver Chamber returns to close the night off, and once again, this second set is exceptional. This set, whilst clearly shorter than their first one, is just as creative and sounds just as powerful too. This is the perfect way to end the evening as combining metal with orchestral music is what this night is all about, and that is exactly what Silver Chamber manage to do flawlessly and the crowd gives them an extraordinary reaction at the end of the night."
